This first translation feels especially meaningful to me, as I imagine my German-speaking ancestors are cheering! 🌍 I’m also overjoyed that readers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland can now experience the book in their own language.

For the rest of this year, I’m doing something I never thought I’d get the chance to do…

Something I’ve fantasized about for *years* but couldn’t figure out how to make possible…

I am taking a SABBATICAL.

(Even just typing that gave me a little thrill, like the sparkles of light on top of summer water) ✨

I’ll be sharing one more post here and then, for the rest of the year, I’ll be stepping away from all social media, emails etc. to work ok my next book!

The BIG thing I’m letting go of…

Ever since Hurricane Helene swept through our mountains last fall, destroying my apothecary of the last 12 years (One Willow Apothecaries) I’ve received so many beautiful messages asking (and sometimes begging!) me—“will you restart the apothecary?”

It’s a question I’ve been sitting with— in tenderness, in wonderment, in grief and trust— since the moment I heard that nine feet of water swept through our doors.

But after two seasons of sitting with the question, I feel clear.

I am letting go of One Willow Apothecaries. 🤍🕊️

It’s hard for me to express the depth of what One Willow has meant to me! It was the beginning of my career. A pillar that supported me through every major leap I made in life. The gathering place where I met so many incredible people.

(Maybe it was even how I first met you!?)

Making medicines and sending them around the world was truly a dream come true for me…

And now it’s time for the next dream to come into form. 😌

I went and visited my old space last week at , to see it all healed up and ready for its new tenant (an 80 year old weaver who also lost her whole studio in the hurricane) and I felt the most profound and heartfelt gratitude for this whole journey.

So whether you’ve been walking with me since the inception of One Willow Apothecaries almost thirteen years ago, or you just stepped through the door recently…

Thank you. 🙏

Thank you for being a part of my life. For showing me that dreams are possible. For continuing to walk with me as we all say yes to the leaps in our growth that our soul came here to experience.
