For years now I’ve heard people talk about New Earth.

The idea that the Earth is going through a reincarnation, a rebirth. That the old paradigms are dissolving… so that new ones based on deeper harmony, presence, and co-creation can emerge.

New Earth is not a place. 🌍 It’s a perspective.

One that takes root in each of us, first.

Which is exactly why I think sensitives exist.

With our innate ability to attune to subtlety, notice patterns, feel deeply, imagine new possibilities, and access a profound sense of interconnection… we are uniquely equipped to bring this new way of being into form.

We function as weathervanes — helping point the wider culture back towards wholeness, reciprocity, and care.

When things go sideways, we guide humanity back — back into connection, back into creativity, back into our hearts.

There’s a difference between being a sensitive or an empath and being an Earth Angel.

At first glance, it might not seem like it… especially when, in our culture, you’re often told you’re an “earth angel” when you are giving to a fault.

But Earth Angels don’t export their energy to heal others. ✨They emanate✨

Every time I’m in a moment of soul-growth I ask myself… What would an Earth Angel do?

Which is just another way of asking: what is my soul asking me to do?

Because when I can just tune into this — the answer is always clear.

👉 So…what do Earth Angels do?

aka what’s possible for YOU as a sensitive in this lifetime?

🌈 Earth Angels know that their desire is a kind of compass, it can be trusted and it can be followed

✖️ They don’t abandon their own inner knowing to fulfill what other people desire of them

🌈 Earth Angels have relationships that feel balanced and nurturing for their deepest selves

✖️ They don’t waste time or energy on people or situations that ultimately drain them

🌈 Earth Angels hold profound compassion for other human beings, creating ripples of healing in the world by standing in their power

✖️ They don’t think it’s their job to fix people or give away all their energy

🌈 Earth Angels have such a deep connection to their soul they’re always shapeshifting into ever more authentic versions of their own being

✖️ They don’t camouflage their true selves to become what they think other people need

🌈 Earth Angels know what the right next steps are in life because they can channel information directly from their wider knowing

✖️ They don’t endlessly second-guess their decisions or get stuck in quagmires of self-doubt

🌈 Earth Angels know they are here for a reason, they see the big picture

✖️ They don’t drown in the overwhelm of the world, they have too much self-knowledge and connection for that!

🌈 Earth Angels know healing is always possible

✖️ And they don’t doubt that the role they are here to play in that healing is important and valuable

Are *you* an Earth Angel?

A lot of sensitives think they're just that—sensitive.

When really, they are Earth Angels.

Souls who came here with the power to shift the way things are done on this planet.

But...how do you know if you’re an Earth Angel?

Thankfully, it's pretty simple.

You are DEFINITELY an Earth Angel if:

🪽 You feel deeply sensitive to the suffering of the world

🪽You sometimes struggle with being on Earth or feel like you were born at the wrong time or place

🪽 You automatically put others first, but deep down you know that placing yourself first is how you access your real destiny

🪽 The world often feels like “too much”

🪽 You can’t help but care deeply about people and humanity

🪽 You are constantly problem-solving for others but recognize that you have a profound creative power within you that is capable of so much more

🪽 People tend to gravitate to you, sharing their hearts and relying on you emotionally

🪽 You have the sense that you are here to help this world.

🪽 You’ve been told you are “too” sensitive at times

🪽 Sometimes people misread you and think you’re positive because you haven’t been through hard things, but the truth is you embody so much light because you’ve experienced real darkness

🪽 You have this sense that your life is meant to be one of power and importance, but haven’t quite understood yet what that looks like

🪽 Things on Earth often feel like they don’t “make sense” and yet you are constantly trying to make sense of it anyways

🪽 You are innately drawn to the unseen world—even as a child you were fascinated with things like faeries, angels, near-death experiences, plant spirits, other spiritual realities or God

🪽 You have a sense that there is another way, a gentler way, to live and to heal. Despite everything you’ve been through, you cannot give up on the belief that another way is possible.

On my good days—when my daughter and I collect petals from the grass, and my body feels alive, and I have enough space to sink into the world—my sensitivity can feel as ecstatic as a pink dogwood blooming against a bright blue sky.

But on the bad days—the days when my daughter has ten meltdowns before breakfast, and my body is aching, and I open my phone to hear about yet another devastation rippling across the world—I don’t feel ecstatic in the slightest...

I feel like I’m on fire.

And I can’t help but think…really?

This is the world that we sensitives were born into?

It’s almost comical, when you take a soul-eye view of it all.

Those of us who are sensitive come here, to this place of such sharp contrasts, in bodies that are built like tuning forks.

We come here with the ability to feel it all—the pain of someone half a world away from us alongside the joy of the goldfinch who just snuck more seed from the feeder.

We come here because our sensitivity, and its particular resonance, has the ability to shape the future of our world…

And yet, in the midst of this huge time of change, we are out here feeling every single current that passes us by.

Here are 3 simple practices for when the world is too much:

💎 Keep a stone in your pocket - energy medicine, solid anchor, ancient fidget, a place to release what's built up throughout your day. Even the simple act of holding something warm and solid can bring you back to yourself.

🚿 Shower at night — let the water wash away what you picked up that was never yours to carry. As sensitives we accumulate energetic charge throughout the day without even realizing it. The shower composts it back to the earth.

🌳Take an oracle walk — go outside and ask the living world to reach you where you are. Then walk until something (or someone 🌷) calls your attention. It always does.

These are the practices that bring me home to myself, and to my power.

And coming into your power by coming home to yourself?

I see so many sensitives and empaths who are afraid to claim what they really want

From a young age many of us absorbed the belief that if what we want is different than what others want OF us, then our desires are wrong.

We’ve been trained to see our own personal desires as selfish.

We were taught that the worst possible thing we could do is be self-centered…

And so the moment our desire deviates from what someone wants from us (no matter how subtle)…?

We pull away from our own center.

We self-abandon. We compromise. We over-accommodate.

Sometimes it’s small, like where we want to eat for dinner or which side of the couch we prefer.

Sometimes it’s big and life-altering, like the times you fawned when another part of you wanted to run away as fast as you possibly could.

The reality is, the ways in which you learned to keep yourself safe by meeting other people’s needs was brilliant.

Profoundly so.

It served you so well, that you are still here today. That is no small feat.

But it’s time for an update.

The update is:
You get to have desires.
You get to want what you want.
And you get to TELL people what you want.

You may not always get what you want.
But, in truth, that actually doesn’t matter.
Because that was never the point.

The real power of desire is to being us back in touch with ourselves. To know our center.

To recognize who we truly are, and realize that we matter.

You have the desires you do for a reason. Those desires are not here to destroy your relationships or condemn your goodness..

They are here to liberate you.

Because for sensitive people liberation is as simple, and as hard, as being our full selves.
