Hello everyone!!! I wanted to announce that I will be having a grand opening party on Thursday April 10th from 5 to 7 PM at my suite! I am so happy to finally be able to introduce you guys to my space and LCBeauty! There will be plenty of snacks, drinks and gifts, as well as a drawing for some free services! I will also have my girl Daphne offering complimentary chair massages for anyone who may need it😏I hope to see you all there!

So very bittersweet…if these walls could talk. There’s several things they’d tell you. But I think what would be said was a lot of tears were shed in this building. Good ones, and not so good ones. Lessons learned. Friendships gained, and a few lost. So many emotions this past weekend. But i can say Im ending this chapter excited for this space on the square. There are some amazing eager and very talented young ladies about to transform this place into their dream. And to see the passion these young souls have, I know this space is about to be all it was meant to be. Please keep an eye on 28 East Arrow as I know it’s gonna be GORGEOUS!!! Doc thank you for believing in my dream and also being my friend these past few years. My voice of reason when I wanted to scream. I love you beyond words and so thankful for your friendship. My Granny brought you to me and she knew I needed ya. To Candy, girl I love you with my whole heart. And miss your stinkin face. The most loyal. Thank you for being my partner for 7 years. To all the ladies who I got to spend time with here at Drift Away Spa, each of you brought something to my life. Something positive. And I do pray I did the same for you. The positive is what I am taking with me as I lock the door for the last time. To all the beautiful souls who continued to support me and my dream thru all the ups and downs. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Tonight I close this chapter. Tonight I feel as blessed as I did the first day I walked in there. Blessed that God has placed such great people along my journey. And each of you are one. Happy Saturday! This post will probably be a long one, and bittersweet. So bear with me. I have made the decision to pass my business along to another beautiful soul. She is a young girl with a lot of passion, drive, and a wonderful fun personality. This decision didn’t come lightly at all. It’s been one I’ve thought long and prayed hard about. I’m a true believer that God has a plan and he brings opportunities, even people, to us when maybe we aren’t expecting them. Kinda how my love story has happened. Definitely wasnt expecting The Chef to move home. That being said, something has came along my path that I cannot pass up. A new exciting adventure. After a lot of talks with Jesus over some coffee I finally made the decision to stop massaging. I am always overwhelmed by all the love and support I’ve gotten over the last 8 years. Lord knows I have learned so many lessons about business, friendship, but most importantly about myself. And many of you have been there to help my growth. So what does this look like moving forward? The new owner will take over soon. She will have someone joining her. Together they will be able to offer many amazing services from facials, waxing, massage, reflexology, and relaxing treatments. I will stay on and mentor them as needed. I truly believe both will be able to continue that same feeling you’ve gotten when you come spend time with me. Both will begin taking appointments as soon as the state finishes with their part. The new owner will take over all Drift Away social media accounts, the only change you will see is the name. I’ve also worked it out that you will be able to use your 2024 gift certificates or any spa credits with them until July 1st. After that, they won’t be honored. The booking site will continue to be what it’s always been and when the new menu is ready I will post the link. I know many will ask what my next adventure will be and I will share that soon. If you have an appointment scheduled, I possibly will be calling to make changes. If you do not hear from me, your appointment is as it was scheduled. I pray that each of you continue to follow this page and support the new owner and her team as you have done so faithfully with me the last 8 years. As I’m sad to maybe not see each of you in the realm I have been, I do pray you find me in this next chapter. Again, thank you. This little spa of mine helped me get my son thru middle and high school. It allowed me to be present as his Mom. This little spa of mine has given me so many beautiful friends. This little spa of mine had great big dreams, but realized sometimes the lessons are better than the actual dream. I’ve gained so much from this chapter. Good morning!
I am working on getting gift certificates scheduled. So, if you have one that is needing to be used, please MESSAGE THE PAGE. I would like to get all gift cards used by March 31st.
There are some changes that will be taking place soon with the spa on the square as well as my personal massage therapy business. I will no longer be taking any appointments unless you have a gift certificate to use. If you have an appointment already scheduled with me, i may reach out to possibly switch it if need be. If you do not hear from me, your appointment is still as scheduled.
I promise to keep you posted as life progresses. The love and support I have had with this part of my journey has been amazing.

Happy Monday Morning! A peaceful rainy morning seriously is what I needed. Been productive with my cup of coffee this morning. Working on my schedule so if you have a gift certificate or have credit on file please shoot me a message as I’d like to get you on the books 💚 also I’d like to add that moving forward I am not accepting any “new to me” clients. If you’ve been to Drift Away and seen someone else in the past but not me, I won’t be able to add you to my schedule in the future. Beginning Jan 1st my schedule will look much different. And I am excited for that. Life is changing for me and I want to be present in it. This community has some AMAZING massage therapists. And several that are taking new clients. I’d be happy to help you find the right one for you if I’m unable to help. Again thank you for all your love and support. New address is 1060 South Odell Suite 107. Happy Tuesday!!! Just wanted to drop in and let you know that I am patiently waiting for my inspection at the new location. As soon as I get the okay I will let everyone know and open online booking back up. Fingers crossed it should only be a week or two more 🤞🏻 I am not taking any new (not already scheduled) appointments until in the new place. Thank you much for your support 💚

Good morning! Just wanted to give an update! Building is still for sale if anyone is interested! I have found a space and hope to be completely in and inspected by mid-September. I will reopen the online booking then and will be taking appointments for anyone who has a gift certificate, you’ll be able to book thru the online booking or can reach out to this messenger account. Please don’t message my personal page, as I rarely look at that account. The best and easiest way is to message thru here. Again, as soon as I have the passed papers in hand for the new location I’ll let everyone know so appointments can be made. I am HONORING ALL GIFT CERTIFICATES. I’ve heard from several people that the buzz is I just quit. I have not. I’m just moving into a new space, that’s all. Have an awesome day!

Good evening friends and family. An update is in order. As I posted a month ago a few things were going to be changing. In a moment of crazy emotions and just not a good day, I told my business partner I was done trying to make the spa “work”. Most all of my clients, if you’ve been with me over the last 3 and a half years, know many of the struggles that have came the spa’s way. From construction issues, to keeping licensed staff. To caring for sick loved ones, and a growing son. And just making several bad business decisions, I have just came to the point that I was done doing the “big dream”. Hence the for sale sign. Candy has been with me basically since day one. She has always dreamed of owning her own space. Daphne is working on building her Esthetician business Skin Deep. It felt like the right time to make this move. I am at a place in life that my dream has changed. I don’t have the energy, nor the time to truly give that dream what it takes to be successful. And sometimes we just have to know when to say, I tried and it didn’t work. It’s time. So Candy found a really cute place that she will be moving in to. Daphne will keep all posted as to what her plans are. I have an obligation to this building on the square until it sells (if ya know anyone holler! It’s a BEAUTIFUL SPACE) but I have found a spot that I will be moving in to once this building sells. Sometimes you just need to go back home 😉 so I hope this clarifies the rumors that Drift Away Spa is closing. Because I am not. I will continue to be a massage therapist. I will continue to see my regular clients. If you have a Drift Away Spa gift certificate, do not worry. You can use it. As of right now my online booking is closed until things become more set in stone. But as soon as possible I’ll open it back up. I will not be working on Mondays. But I am staying late a couple more nights and opening up a few more Saturdays as well. So please keep following this page and I will keep posting updates. Please also note the phone to the spa is no longer active. My regular clients should have my personal cell.
