Employee Spotlight ✨

Meet Dr. Erin Land, the lead pharmacist at Matthewson Drug with 19 years of pharmacy experience! She began her career as a pharmacy technician in 2006 under the supervision of our very own hometown favorite pharmacists, Brian and Beckie Bates. She pursued her undergraduate studies at East Texas Baptist University and then went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, where she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) in 2014.

After completing pharmacy school, Dr. Land returned to East Texas, where she is driven by a passion to serve her community and be near family. For the past 11 years, she has been dedicated to providing exceptional patient care as a pharmacist at Matthewson Drug. She balances her career with family life as a proud parent supporting her two children as they navigate college and junior high. Her spouse, also a pharmacist, shares her dedication to the field, and together they strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those they serve. Dr. Land says, "Hook 'em Horns!" 🤘🏼
