You can call 870.448.2233 or email marshallfamilyeyecare@ymail.com or come by and request supplies. Tips for contact lens wear: Wash hands before handling. Rinse case with solution and let air dry in clean cabinet. Don’t sleep in contacts. Safest lenses are daily disposables.

Tip: If the wind blows something in your eye, DO NOT RUB it. Blink gently and move your eye to the position of least pain. Give the eye a few minutes to try to recover.

Jacy’s birthday party today was a hoot. We were joined by Ms Patricia Wilson, retired 1st grade teacher and Bible teacher extraordinaire. Dr Gentry’s husband, Dave Gentry, also joined in to sing and play Happy Birthday on his guitar. Optical manager Jacquelyn won the ‘Jacy: This or That’ game with a perfect score, which proves her remarkable observation skills. Ms Wilson won the art contest (no surprise there). A good time was had by all. Many thanks to Britt’s Bake Shop and Cafe in Marshall for lovingly hosting our birthday event. Happy birthday all week to Jacy!

Marshall Family Eyecare, PLLC is located in the old Treece House on Main Street in Marshall. Repta Treece was a well-known influencer in Marshall in the 1940s. It is reported that she herself built the two little "giraffe" rock houses adjacent to the Treece house. She was obviously very industrious because quite a lot of her 1940s canned goods were discovered in the basement! The Treece house itself is a 1910 Sears and Roebuck house that came as a kit on the train and was built surrounding part of a Civil War-era cabin. A hand-hewn beam from the old cabin is on display in our dispensary. Repta's sons gave Dr. Gentry the rocking chair Repta rocked them in as youngsters. The beam and the rocking chair are visible in the photo. Can you find them? If not, come see us!
