I’m currently looking for a midwifery student who is passionate about birth and ready to jump into hands-on learning in a nice paced (2-4 births a month) practice here in Marshall, Minnesota.

If you already have a foundation in midwifery skills (charting, prenatal care, birth support, etc.) and are looking for an opportunity to grow in a supportive, faith-filled environment—this could be for you!

✨ What I’m looking for:
• A student with basic midwifery knowledge (either from school or another apprenticeship)
• Someone willing to relocate or travel to Marshall, MN
• A teachable spirit, a compassionate heart, and a love for moms and babies ❤️

You’ll be part of a beautiful journey with the families I serve, from prenatal visits through birth and postpartum care. I believe in empowering women and honoring the sacredness of birth—and I’d love to invest in someone who shares that calling.

Any first time families out there that want to be educated this class is excellent!!

We are just under 2 weeks away from our next Birth Essentials Workshop!

This session is scheduled for:
Saturday March 29th and Saturday April 5th from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm each day.

If you are in your 2nd or 3rd trimester of your pregnancy, NOW is the perfect time!

This is a fun and interactive childbirth class that covers:
- How to navigate the health care system
- Advocacy and communication
- Stages of labor
- Interventions: IVs, pain medication, epidurals, fetal monitoring, vaginal exams, reputuring membranes, internal monitoring, foley catheters and more
- Inductions - reasons, methods, how to have an empowering experience
- Cesareans - what to expect, how to have an empowering experience
- Navigating Choices and common situations
- Comfort measures- breathing, movement, positioning, visualization, touch and massage, music, water immersion, vocalization, creating a calming environment, acupresure, counter pressure and more!
- Hands on practice of positioning and comfort measure
- Newborn care and choices
- Birth plans and more!

This class truly has something for everyone - we have had everyone from first time parents to 4th time parents take this class and tell us that it was helpful for them in achieving the birth they desired. We're all about giving you the tools and information to help you have the birth that YOU want ❤

We are so grateful that all of our February clients had their babies! I took on more than I usually do this month so I was VERY nervous how it would all unfold. It was perfect…i couldn’t of asked for anything better. Each client delivered on their own day with the closest being 15 hours apart. A total of 6 babies in 21 days! We are tired BUT SO HAPPY! Thanks for choosing us to support you! We absolutely LOVE our job!!

We had our final visit today with Emily and her chunky baby boy Levi. It was a short time together because Emily didn’t find my services till her third trimester, but we were able to walk with her through the end of pregnancy and help her have a beautiful water birth at home! However it was the fastest births ive ever attended! She literally called me the moment a contraction started and good thing she did because she had a baby an hour and nine minutes later. The midwife and assistant barely made it, but Brooke (student midwife) wouldn’t have even made it if she was able to leave at the time labor started. Thank you for choosing Tree of Life to help you through such a special time in life! Levi was a bit fussy at the visit but when the camera came out he perked up!

We are on an all girl streak! Here is the first of 3 girls born in the last week. Alanna and Loic brought this baby girl into the world as if they have done it hundreds of times!

Less than 24 hours later, the 2nd baby girl was born! Sarah and JJ brought their NINTH child into the world and their FIFTH one with Eileen! A special one for Eileen, being the most delivered babies with one family in her career so far!

And this past weekend, 3rd baby girl made her way! A redemptive birth for Sierra and Malachi and she looks JUST like her big sister.

We are always so proud of first time parents to have the courage to go the home birth route. Thankful to be part of their journey.

I’m thankful that God protected my client and her baby. This is a velamentous cord insertion and if this would have been found on an ultrasound she would have been labeled high risk and been scheduled for a c-section. Thank God nothing bad came of this!

Eventful morning for this first time father and now Mid-Husband:) He remained calm and caught his son and was an awesome support to his wife!!!

Our final appointment with this amazing couple.
It is always a little bittersweet when we have to say “see you later” after such a big event like birth.
Our time together seems so short in retrospect but it is forever in our hearts!!
