My next Introduction to Celtic Shamanism course starts Wednesday June 18th for 5 consecutive weeks 4-7pm pacific online! I’ve been teaching this class for 8 years and have much to share about Ireland and the healing medicine of our ancestral lands.

This class offers an introduction to the Celtic medicine wheel. We will learn and practice shamanic journeying and begin to build our own (mala) altar. Our intimate circle offers personal support for the emergence of deep healing with yourself and earth.🌿

The earth is calling us to remember that we are part of her, interconnected in the web of life. Shamanism, the oldest earth based spiritual practice, is a devotion in deepening our relationship with the elements and learning the wisdom that supports and guides life. Each week we will do shamanic drum journeys to a different element and direction on the medicine wheel. Earth, air, water, fire. During a personal time of healing and recovery, this Imbolc is ever sweeter feeling the breath of Brigid feed my soul with her inspirational Imbas.

She is the Awakener, the earths renewal of hope and magical transformation from darkness into light.

My life, my heart, my hope, my hearth. Brigid guides me to green pastures and renews the spark of spring within when the fields have been fallow and muddy. Her warmth lights up the path of longing that leads me to drink from her well and enliven the very earth within.

Her green mantle wraps me up in a soothing embrace. She raises the dead in the grace of her beauty - birds eggs, bulbs blooming and light returning.

Oh spring, you warm my eyes and heart with color and hope. The sparrows and robins sing your song. The daffodils, narcissus and delicate catkins intoxicate the senses with golden yellow sweetness.

Praise Brigid, Celtic Saint and Goddess, embodied earth and heaven sent. I am your daughter, your devotee of hope and faith springing eternal.

Why do we enter the portal of the medicine wheel, spiral of seasons and chamber of shamanic initiation?

This is the path of self awareness, healing, deep wisdom and growth. As we open our senses to nature we realize we are in relationship with all life co-creating our reality.

Mother Nature has been exiled from religious beliefs and practices - we are bringing her back into the center of what is holy.

Without this wisdom practice and ancestral awakening I would be adrift and untethered in the world. Excavating and integrating trauma is the path of embodiment and true power. As I enter the threshold of the Crone this practice, knowledge and power is nonnegotiable. The fires consume and transform us into who we are meant to be. It is what guides us through the dismantling of outworn coping mechanisms and false core beliefs to usher in authenticity and unflinching presence.

I am a guide, a seer, wounded healer and holder of compassionate space for bringing our darkness into the light. Or light into the darkness.

Celtic ancestral lineage called me to this sacred spiral path. I am here to support us in our rising.

Sovereignty, Self Love, Inspiration, Listening and Trusting the guidance from Spirit and Nature.

Celtic spirituality is a unique earth-based cosmology - a mystical way of seeing with the heart.

The pulse of spirit or awen (flowing spirit) permeates the land, music, philosophy, poetry, art and language of the Irish Celts as a mystical energy in all things.

The essence of the great mystery is felt in the winds, ocean, fires and trees. Spirit is not something away up there- but here in the messages on the wind.

The numinous language of spirit is strong on the emerald isle but it can be found here too, wherever you are. You are not separate from spirit, your belonging is everywhere. Just listen and the heart knows everything.

Learning to listen and engage with the sacred elements is not lost. I can support you to re-member your souls longing. Your ancestors are calling you home to your divine heritage- a person that belongs to your earth and clan.

Life is change and the life of the soul is transformation. On the path of transformation, there can be no way back to the self-identity or sense of life we had before. When seen from the deeper view of the soul, the challenges and obstacles in life are not simply roadblocks, intended to stop us altogether, as much as detours intended to lead us to genuine change and growth.

This life journey is not a straight line but one of expansion/contraction creation and loss.

That we were taught life is making goals and achieving plans and all apparent losses are failures , is simply a lie.

What has been omitted from our mainstream collective understanding is that life brings change and loss. This is not something to punish or shame you, but the rich underworld soil for soul growth.

Pilgrimage, rite of passage, immram, vision quest, wasteland, illness, are all initiations by way of death of the old to bring rebirth.

Bringing this awareness into life’s losses are the turns in the labyrinth. The heroines journey - the greatest journey of all.🌀

We are designed to evolve, to expand and transform our consciousness.
