Our Life After Abortion peer support group offers a safe, compassionate space for women to process their experiences, find peace, and move forward with hope.

Led by Carrie, who has personally walked this journey, each session uses resources from Restored by Grace Ministries to help guide your healing.

Aggie’s Closet is Marshalltown’s FREE Mom & Baby Supply Closet!

We provide diapers, wipes, clothes (up to 4T), teethers, strollers, cribs, baby wash, diaper cream, and more!

Requirements to use the closet:
• Valid Photo ID
• Proof of WIC, Medicaid, or SNAP

Our closet is 100% donation-powered, and right now we especially need larger items like pack-n-plays, strollers, and cribs.

Last week, we gathered for the Too Beautiful for Earth Infant and Miscarriage Remembrance Service at Center School Cemetery.

This heartfelt event is lovingly organized each year by our dear partners, Holly and Jenny, and graciously supported by Mitchell Family Funeral Home, who provide a resting place for the small memorial casket buried in their cemetery.

Every year on October 15th (Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day) Holly and Jenny lead this service to bring healing and comfort to those in our community grieving the loss of a little one. The service is open to anyone who wishes to attend and offers the opportunity to place a small memento, such as a note, photo, or hospital bracelet, into a shared casket that is then laid to rest.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helps make this beautiful and sacred event possible. 💛

At Guiding Star Marshalltown, we also host a Tree of Remembrance event in December, where families are invited to decorate an ornament with their angel’s name and hang it on our tree, a lasting tribute displayed each Christmas season at our center.

Is your daughter starting to ask big questions about puberty? This class is designed for moms and their 9–13-year-old daughters to learn and grow together. 💕

We’ll talk about the four “superpowers” of womanhood:ovulation, menstruation, pregnancy, and breastfeeding; while helping girls prepare for their first period and gain confidence in how their bodies are beautifully designed.
Every daughter receives a gift + resource packet to continue the conversation at home. ✨
