Aggie’s Closet is currently completely out of baby wash!

This is a consistent need we see, along with diapers and wipes. One thing that makes Aggie’s Closet unique is that we are one of the few places where mothers can receive these essential baby care items. Programs like WIC and SNAP help cover food, but they don’t cover necessities like baby wash, diapers, and wipes.

Because of this, donations to Aggie’s Closet are incredibly important for mothers facing crisis pregnancies.

Hannah is the artist behind Fox Timber Ceramics, creating beautiful, intentional pieces inspired by nature and the simple joy found in everyday moments. Based just down the road in State Center, Iowa, Hannah has been working with clay since she was just 12 years old!

Her table will feature handcrafted ceramics like bowls, mugs, coffee tumblers, vases, and other functional pieces.

March is here, and so are our events at Guiding Star Marshalltown!

☕On Monday the 16th, we have Mugs and Mamas meeting from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM. This is a casual hangout for moms and kiddos, with coffee provided! Child watch is limited, and you must RSVP in advance. Moms are always welcome to come even without their kids!

Do you have a girl aged 9-13 who is asking big questions about her body? ✨

Join us Sunday, March 8th for Intro to Womanhood! Led by Becca Driscoll, PA this class is designed for young girls and their mom. We explore the female body’s 4 “superpowers”: Ovulation, Menstruation, Gestation, and Lactation.

Focusing on signs of puberty, preparing for the first period, and understanding changes. We’ll also introduce SPICE to connect spiritual, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional growth.

This is a parent and daughter class, with intention to teach young girls how to care for thier body, and not fear it!

There is a $25 cost and an additional $10 will be added per daughter (1 daughter = $25, 2 daughters = $35, etc.). Each daughter will receive a gift and folder of resources that will further the discussion and relationship you have with your daughter around this transition into womanhood.
