Yesterday our residents enjoyed a live virtual tour of Lake Louise in Canada 🇨🇦 the live tours are very informative and engaging as we can ask questions and comment on what we are seeing or would like to see while on our tour! We enjoyed coffee and the famous Canadian Maple Leaf Cookies!

Today we enjoyed a bit of Japanese cuisine! Miss. Denise made us some amazing spring rolls loaded with fresh vegetables, shrimp and noodles! Our residents also enjoyed some salmon, tuna and crab sushi 🍱

Our hearts fell heavy Friday as our community learned of Janell’s passing.

If you or your loved one walked through our doors over the last 14 years, you’ve likely been cared for by Janell. She would often share stories of former residents, chuckle and say, “I always enjoyed them.”

Her most recent role working at our front desk gave her even more opportunity to engage with every single resident and their family members. She had a way of making people feel seen and welcome the moment they walked through the door, and that’s a gift not everyone has.

So grateful for the time we had with her and the countless small moments that meant so much. She will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever a part of Glenwood Place. 💚💛
