Trevor completed an associate in psychology from Tulsa Community college, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in legal studies, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. Trevor is new to the area but has taking a liking to the city of Marshfield. Trevor has experience in working with victims of trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Also, his work has included people with addictions and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Trevor uses a combination of trauma informed therapy (TIT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and trauma informed – cognitive behavioral therapy (TI-CBT) Trevor encourages and models accurate, honest, and timely feedback with good communication, and a good therapeutic alliance by creating a space that invites, expects, and is quite purposely designed for frank, probing, and revealing dialogue. He works to create a safe space for clients to express themselves honestly, get to understand their true feelings, and work to figure out how to use that information in their journey toward healing. Trevor enjoys working with people to help them heal and return to a positive fulfilling life.
