🩵Friendly Reminder🩵

We have been receiving several inquiries again regarding housekeeping services. While we don’t mind helping out our clients with a little tidying in their homes such as (a quick load of laundry or a kitchen floor sweep) we are most certainly not housekeepers nor do we advertise those services.

Our top priority has always been the loving & compassionate care we provide to our clients.

While we do not offer a cleaning type service we do have some wonderful recommendations of cleaners we’d be happy to share.

Our team recognizes family caregivers every day and are proud to announce November as National Family Caregivers Month. According to a new report from AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, 63 million Americans now provide unpaid care to an adult or child with health or functional needs—a nearly 50% increase since 2015. 57% of Wisconsin caregivers struggle to find free time for themselves.

Join Kathy Mitchell, a retired psychotherapist and family caregiver, at our Caregiver Support Group on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00 am. For questions or information contact the Vilas County ADRC at 715-479-3625.

We host a monthly caregiver support group every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Vilas County ADRC from 10:00 to 11:00 am. All family caregivers are welcome.

❤️Weekend Care Availability❤️

Peace Of Mind has weekend care availability in both the Marshfield & Minocqua areas.

Weekend care may be scheduled between the hours of Fridays beginning at 6pm through Monday mornings at 7am. A minimum of 12 hours of continuous care is required for all weekend scheduling options.

If you or your loved one are in need of loving one on one care in the comforts of your own home, please reach out anytime. Peace of Mind prides ourselves on offering one loving caregiver for the duration of your in home care needs. We will never send an unfamiliar face to your door…this is our promise to you.

Peace Of Mind is now accepting new clients in the Marshfield & Minocqua areas.

Many elderly folks want their family members to believe they are doing A-Okay…even when they are suffering in silence with every day tasks. They don’t want you to know about the hurdles they face each & every day. While hesitant to ask for assistance, the truth is they are likely struggling more than one realizes…even those closest to them.

Partially they feel a bit embarrassed, their pride tends to take over, they fear the unknown, they fear their children will begin exploring assisted living/nursing home options…leaving them with no say~no independence~no option.

While we most certainly understand their concerns, we also feel their fears…we see them~we hear them.

Peace Of Minds goal has always been to offer loving, supportive care in the comforts of our clients homes. We recognize facility type care settings leave mom & dad with virtually no familiarization~no choices~no independence😔

We have bathing service availability in the Minocqua & Marshfield areas.

Minocqua availability~Tuesdays (7:30am & 5pm)
Marshfield availability~Thursdays (8am)

What does our bathing service only option include?

This service is designed for our folks that may need a bit of assistance while bathing only with no additional cares. Whether just a watchful eye for safety or a tender scrub P.O.M has you covered. This service commonly takes less than one hour & includes showering assistance, bed baths, full body lotion, grooming, shaving, dressing, hair care, oral care, & nail care.
