Our new evening bathing service helps your loved one transition into a restful night, safely and with dignity while offering family members the reassurance that their loved ones are safe~showered~cozy~warm & tucked in for the evening.

What does our evening bathing service option include?

This service is designed for our folks that may need a bit of assistance while bathing only with no additional cares. Whether just a watchful eye for safety or a tender scrub P.O.M has you covered. This service commonly takes less than one hour & includes showering assistance, bed baths, full body lotion, grooming, shaving, dressing, hair care, oral care, & nail care.

Evening bathing services may be scheduled between the hours of 4pm~8pm on Mondays and/or Wednesdays.

🩵Friendly Reminder🩵

We have been receiving several inquiries again regarding housekeeping services. While we don’t mind helping out our clients with a little tidying in their homes such as (a quick load of laundry or a kitchen floor sweep) we are most certainly not housekeepers nor do we advertise those services.

Our top priority has always been the loving & compassionate care we provide to our clients.

While we do not offer a cleaning type service we do have some wonderful recommendations of cleaners we’d be happy to share.

Below is a detailed list of P.O.M’s services offered that can also be found in the ADRC of Wood/Marathon/Vilas & Oneida Counties handbooks.

Our team recognizes family caregivers every day and are proud to announce November as National Family Caregivers Month. According to a new report from AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, 63 million Americans now provide unpaid care to an adult or child with health or functional needs—a nearly 50% increase since 2015. 57% of Wisconsin caregivers struggle to find free time for themselves.

Join Kathy Mitchell, a retired psychotherapist and family caregiver, at our Caregiver Support Group on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00 am. For questions or information contact the Vilas County ADRC at 715-479-3625.

We host a monthly caregiver support group every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Vilas County ADRC from 10:00 to 11:00 am. All family caregivers are welcome.
