What is the best exercises to lose weight? The one that you enjoy enough to do consistently and vigorously. What is the best "diet" to use to lose weight? A healthy lifestyle that you will continue forever. Eat less, move more. There is no other single one size fits all plan.

How are we all doing with the resolutions? I still am hibernating inside, and I use my reusable shopping bags about 1/2 the time. Epic fail.... BUT I am down 15 pounds and working out like a maniac!!!! Let me know if you would like to join me on a journey to better health!!!

When you don't eat properly, you have no energy.
When you have no energy, you sit on the couch a lot.
When you sit on the couch a lot, the dog gets angry.
When the dog gets angry, he chews your spouse's favorite shoes.
When he chews their favorite shoes, they have to go shoe shopping.
When they go shoe shopping, the Visa maxes out.

Don't max out the Visa. Eat properly.

Yes, there is a Bruins game today, yes there is a Patriots game today. Yes, there is an NFC game today. That doesn't mean you have to eat crappy food for 9 straight hours. A handful of chips here, a couple wings, a few beers, a couple scoops of guac, a handful of peanuts, a few bites of cheesecake... You are up to two days worth of calories, a week's worth of sodium, three days of fats and sugars. DON'T MAKE IT ABOUT THE FOOD! Make it about fun and friends and yelling at the refs! Your Monday body will thank you.

Who says a New Year's Resolution has to start January 1??? Don't wait another 352 days. Make a difference in your own life today!!! Put down the cigarette, walk the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Eat an extra veggie. Stop putting sugar into your body. Do it TODAY!!!
