Family Health Center (FHC) is offering a new recovery support group for those seeking help with substance use. LifeRing Secular Recovery is a free, confidential, abstinence-based network designed to build supportive connections between peers following a 3-S philosophy of Sobriety, Secularity, and Self-Empowerment.

LifeRing meetings provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for people to connect with other peers in recovery, work on individual recovery goals, and explore peer supports and resources.

Meetings are held in person every Tuesday evening, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library, and are led by a FHC certified peer support specialist.

Greg shares patients are traveling long distances, often in pain, just to get the care they need, and bringing services to Wisconsin Rapids will help increase access and improve health outcomes.
