We opened The Hearing House on June 28, 2010. Our first year was very successful so we wanted to do something to celebrate our 1st anniversary and let our clients know how much we appreciate them so we held our first customer appreciation picnic. We blinked and all of a sudden it’s our 15th anniversary of opening! We’ve held a customer appreciation picnic every year since then minus one because of covid.
Today was picnic day. A day we dread but love at the same time.
Todd and I are always speechless on this day. The amount of people that show up and remind us that we are doing something right, something good, always amazes us. These people are all part of The Hearing House family, they know our family and we know all about their families. They’ve become our friends and we hope they all know how much we appreciate them and their trust in us.
It’s a big job feeding 250 people, but we have a team of great help that all know what has to be done and when it has to be done. We could not be more thankful for Katie and all she does everyday for us and our clients. She’s always quick with a smile and kind words. Her dad Rick was there to help us today and he brought his little buddy Lambeau. Mary Sue and Zeb don’t have to help, but they are great friends and are true blessings to us and this day would not run as smoothly without them. Mary Sue will always be a very special person to us. Todd’s sister Rose and her daughter Abrielle always hustle and are more than willing to help out in any way. One of Karen’s sons and his family, Greg and Elaine, always take the day off from their busy jobs to help us and we could not do it without them. Plus, we had 6 grandkids there taking drink orders, handing out brats, hamburgers and cake and helped clean up.
Thank you to everyone that helped, thank you to everyone that came and most importantly, thank you to everyone who trusts us for their hearing healthcare. God has blessed us with all of you and we do not take any of you for granted.
