With this day, our physical presence in Eau Claire comes to a close. All agency furnishings have been donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Our goal in establishing a presence here was to contribute to the community, and since this decision aligns with the community's best interests at this time, then it is the right one.

Unfortunately, the city of Eau Claire failed to fulfill the commitments made when we were recruited to address the gap left by hospital closures.

As of July 19, 2025, Gateways Counseling Services transitioned to a telehealth-only model, enabling us to provide statewide telehealth services and engage a more extensive team of qualified professionals. We remain available to support anyone in need across Wisconsin by calling 715-898-1665.

A new face in the front office at Gateways Marshfield awaits you. Megan has joined the Marshfield team with Polly Hewitt LCSW and Danielle Brusky LPC. We are also in the process of bringing a male provider on board. Marshfield treats children and adults.
Our Eau Claire office has same week availability, for adults only. Marshfield is out a couple of weeks as these two ladies are adored by their clients and fill up fast.

Exciting News!
Our Eau Claire office has relocated effective Feb. 1 to be of more service to those in need. Find us on the lower level of the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic we are in Unit C use the lower level parking lot and lower level door. Eau Claire bus service is located right outside our doors for those needing assistance with transportation.

Matthew Deets, MSE, is a professionally trained life and relationship coach with over a decade of experience as a helping professional, including counseling and coaching, and is a certified financial coach with Ramsey Solutions.

Matthew is passionate about working with individuals and couples to achieve their life and relationship goals, including: managing stress, prioritizing time, mastering emotions, overcoming fears, increasing confidence, enhancing communication, improving relationships, adapting to change, and gaining financial literacy skills.
