We have officially moved out of our building. If you need to get in touch with us, our phone number will remain active for the next 3 months at least for providers and patients to contact us for coordination of care, billing questions, or to get information on having records sent. We also have a Marshfield PO Box 552 for mail, and our wisemindmhc @ gmail will also be operational for the foreseeable future. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have created a practice we were proud of, and to have worked with so many wonderful people, whether they were patients, colleagues, or community members. Thank you for your support of our business through the years.

One of the consequences of only doing telehealth visits is that our waiting room magazines continue to arrive, but are for the most part unread. The April 27 TIME magazine's main theme is "Finding Hope." The initial shock of the quarantine has subsided some, and most of us are starting to settle into some sort of pattern. The magazine covers most of the standard self care strategies, try to get into a routine, stay connected, take care of your physical health. This is a time when we need some light, some hope. Try to find some small things that bring contentment or humor. Stay informed, but resist immersing yourself in every painful or conflict ridden news story. Find one thing a day that relieves the tension and gives hope to you or someone you care about.

We have been working hard to find alternative ways of meeting with people. We do have a platform set up for telehealth, and both of us have been able to have some sessions this week. Information about insurance companies who have adjusted telemedicine requirements has been trickling in, so we are calling patients to see what what we can figure out. It is not the same as in person meetings, but after about 10 minutes, it seems like we can settle in and get to the core concerns. And I've had the experience of meeting several pets (and a few ceiling fans). We'll try and post some more resources, but if you're a current patient, feel free to contact us about appointments if you don't already have one set up.
