Great opportunity for anyone in need of these services.

UHS has a goal that more compassion comes to healthcare. This being said, we want everyone in the Marathon County area to know of possible resources!

Below is two days of free dental care on July 25th and 26th. We are so lucky that our vice presidents Eowyn Dillon and Nick Sommers will be apart of this service! They will help with tasks such as dental assisting, sterilization, and more. 🦷 🙂

Today, Astia Health is closed as we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

🌿 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🌿
At Astia Health, we recognize the powerful connection between mental health and physical well-being — and the urgent need to talk about it.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI):

🧠 People with depression have a 40% higher risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Those with serious mental illness are nearly twice as likely to face these challenges.
💔 In 2021, 33.5% of U.S. adults with mental illness also experienced a substance use disorder — that's nearly 19.4 million individuals.
📉 Adults with mental illness face an unemployment rate of 7.4%, significantly higher than those without (4.6%).
🎓 High school students showing significant symptoms of depression are 2x more likely to drop out.
📚 Children ages 6–17 with mental, emotional, or behavioral concerns are 3x more likely to repeat a grade.

These numbers are more than statistics — they reflect real people, real struggles, and real opportunities to help.
