Not everyone can work with kids. Children are struggling to figure out the complexities of thier own lives, and it takes someone willing to be kind and patient.

You must be willing to keep yourself regulated, as you teach regulation skills to the youth.

You have to recognize the behaviors being exhibited are not about you; it's actually a calling out for help and support.
