📘 A colonoscopy may not be your favorite appointment, but it’s one of the most powerful tools we have to protect your health. Colon cancer is highly treatable when caught early — but early stages often have no symptoms at all. A routine test can give you peace of mind and help protect your health for years to come.
💙 Starting at age 45, make colon cancer screening part of your wellness routine.
📅 Call us to get your screening on the calendar.
For more information on how to schedule your colonoscopy, visit www.arh.org/colo.

ARH provides colonoscopies at various locations. If you are 45 or older with a family history of colorectal cancer or polyps, schedule your colonoscopy today!

Verse: “The LORD is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” — Psalm 91:2 (KJV)
God offers Himself as a refuge when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. In moments of fear or fatigue, He remains a safe and steady shelter. Trust grows as we remember that His protection is constant and faithful. Even in difficult circumstances, our confidence rests securely in Him.
Lord, be our refuge and strength as we begin this day. Help us trust You fully as we care for one another. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen

Public Health Alert: Deadly New Synthetic Opioid Detected in Kentucky

ARH is warning our communities about cychlorphine, a dangerous synthetic opioid recently identified in Kentucky.
This substance—already linked to overdose deaths in neighboring states—is approximately 10 times stronger than fentanyl, making even tiny amounts potentially lethal.
Cychlorphine is often mixed into other illicit drugs without the user’s knowledge, increasing the risk of sudden, severe overdose.

What You Need to Know
• Extremely potent synthetic opioid.
• Recently detected in Kentucky and expected to spread rapidly.
• Often mixed with other substances — users may not know they’re taking it.
• Naloxone (Narcan®) may only partially reverse an overdose — but it can still save lives.

If You Suspect an Overdose
✔ Call 911 immediately
✔ Give naloxone if available
✔ Stay with the person until help arrives

ARH encourages everyone—individuals, families, and community members—to carry naloxone whenever possible. The ingredients of drugs sold illicitly are ever changing, and being prepared can save lives.

💔 Heart attacks in women can look different. 💔

Symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, unusual fatigue, jaw or back pain, or discomfort in the chest. Women’s heart attack signs are often subtle—knowing them can save lives.
If you think you’re having a heart attack, go to the emergency room immediately. ❤️

Take care of your heart.
