Some of you know I have been in mentorship with and her amazing husband who have inspired me to share some of my writing…And are inspiring me to write more! You might see more of this come through. That light up my heart like strong lemon cello

A soft edge.
This girl has the world at the ledge.
And I know she will leap.

Like dragons flying off to see many things.
Gifted with intuition and magic.
Intellect and mathematics.
Kindness and justice.
And a literal-ness.
That tells the truth
With out giving up mystery too

Every parent never thinks this day will come. Because as they say the days are long but the years are short.

But here you are on your first day as an adult!

Hooray! You didn’t just make it … you have arrived. With stars in your eyes and a heart of gold. 18 years old!

From bottles, diapers, toys everywhere to mud fights and knots in your hair. From middle school angst to high school games your smile has graced us along the way.

Dearest Susie Q, as you become even more you… remember the wonder and joy of being small. And that you are never too tall..
For heels .. ask …. She’ll keep it real ❤️
