Berkeley County Recovery Resource Center - WV

Berkeley County Recovery Resource Center - WV This is the official account for the Berkeley County Recovery Resource Center. We're here to help you and your family with treatment, support and peer services.

We are a nonjudgemental, safe space for people to come and receive services and resources. The Berkeley County Recovery Resource Center was established in 2016 as a response to the ever growing drug epidemic plaguing the Eastern Panhandle. The RRC provides resources and support to those suffering from substance use disorders as well as their loved ones. We strive to be a beacon of hope for those enslaved to addiction through prevention, harm reduction, and referrals to treatment. Individuals do not need a referral to access our services. Services provided include:

-Support groups and meetings
-1-1 peer recovery coach meetings
-Harm Reduction weekly from 1-3 pm at the Berkeley County Health Department
-Free Narcan training
-Quick Response Team
-Assistance with Medicaid applications for participants
-Assistance with identifying and securing treatment (Detox, Inpatient, Long term, MAT, IOP)

Please give us a call at: 304-350-3080 or stop in to the Center between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm! We are here to help!

We are closed today in recognition of Labor Day. We will reopen tomorrow. We wish you a happy Labor Day.

💭 What does collegiate recovery mean to you❓

We’re creating a powerful video to showcase the voices of students, advocates, and allies who believe in the importance of collegiate recovery on every campus. 💙

👉 Here’s how you can be part of it:

1️⃣ Record a 5–10 second clip answering ONE of these prompts:
“Collegiate recovery means ________.”
“I support collegiate recovery because ________.”
“Every campus should have collegiate recovery because ________.”

2️⃣ Film horizontally, with good lighting, and a quiet background.

3️⃣ Submit your clip by Tuesday, August 26th here:

Once we receive all clips, we'll put them into one video and showcase it at Mobilize Recovery Campus Surge 2025 & National Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st University of Charleston with our friends at WV Drug Intervention Institute, Inc.

Your short video can help inspire change, reduce stigma, and highlight why recovery support in higher education matters. Let’s lift up these voices together! 💪🎓
