WV schools across the state need quality substitute teachers to fill both day-to-day and long-term positions for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year and will begin hiring for the 2025-2026 soon! Now is the time to get your training completed so you are eligible for consideration!

EPIC offers the WV state approved training you need to be prepared for the classroom and eligible to apply for open positions with the county school systems!

Our initial training course is offered online in a self-paced model that can be completed in just a few days on your own computer, tablet or phone! If you currently hold a substitute teaching permit in WV, and it expires this year, the WVDE will begin accepting applications for renewal after January 1, 2025.
