Note that this amount is the 2021 imputed income for your legal services benefit and you will not pay that amount in taxes. Rather, depending on your tax bracket, you will pay in the range of around $2 to around $9. If you are using the PAID version of TurboTax to do your taxes and want to know how to post the legal services benefit $23.58 imputed income, we have a "work-around" that our members have confirmed is working for them this year.

1. Click the Search button located at the top right of your screen.
2. Type 1099-MISC.
3. Select Jump to 1099-MISC.
4. Complete the entries as follows: (1) Describe the reason for the 1099-MISC. Enter Legal Services Plan Benefit. (2) For the question: Does one of these uncommon situations apply?, select: None of these apply. (3) For the question whether the 1099-MISC amount involved work that's like your main job, select No. It didn't involve work like your main job. (4) Select ONLY the tax year for which this specific 1099-MISC was issued (2020). (5) For the question whether the amount received involved an intent to earn money, select No, it didn't involve an intent to earn money.
5. Continue and click DONE.
