VIP Services would like to introduce our new Administrator of Community Services, Patty Shaw.

Patty is a registered nurse by trade. She began her career in nursing working acute care at the hospital in both the emergency department and cardiothoracic intensive care. She then went on to hone her skills in home health and hospice.

In 2007, Patty transitioned from bedside nursing to management. She continued her career in home health and hospice working in Regional QA and Director level positions.

Interestingly, Patty is no stranger to the Village at Morrisons Cove, having taken our nurse aid class and working as a CNA with us at the very start of her career!

When Patty isn’t busy working, she enjoys, traveling, listening, and playing music both on her guitar and singing, and gardening.

She is married to her husband, Brian, and they have three daughters and five grandchildren. They also have two dogs, Murphy and Indigo.

We are honored to share that Village in Place Services (Village of Morrison’s Cove) was awarded the 2025 Altoona Mirror’s Hometown Favorite Home Health. We are grateful for the support of our patients, families, friends, and neighbors. It is an honor and a privilege to provide care to our community. This recognition touches our team’s heart, and it means so much coming from the community we serve.
