VIP Services would like to introduce our new Administrator of Community Services, Patty Shaw.

Patty is a registered nurse by trade. She began her career in nursing working acute care at the hospital in both the emergency department and cardiothoracic intensive care. She then went on to hone her skills in home health and hospice.

In 2007, Patty transitioned from bedside nursing to management. She continued her career in home health and hospice working in Regional QA and Director level positions.๏ฟผ

Interestingly, Patty is no stranger to the Village at Morrisons Cove, having taken our nurse aid class and working as a CNA with us at the very start of her career!

When Patty isnโ€™t busy working, she enjoys, traveling, listening, and playing music both on her guitar and singing, and gardening.

She is married to her husband, Brian, and they have three daughters and five grandchildren. They also have two dogs, Murphy and Indigo. ๏ฟผ

This week has been filled with Christmas joy and celebration at The Village!

The Village at Morrisons Cove would like to introduce our new Long Term Care Administrator, Patrice Moorhead.

Patrice comes to us with an extensive background in long term care, both as Social Worker and Administrator. She received her Undergraduate and Master's degree from West Virginia University.

She entered the world of long term care in the early 1990s where she gained experience as the Director of Social Services for the Beverly Corporation.

She went on to obtain her Nursing Home Administrator's license and oversaw the operations of multiple Beverly Corp facilities.

Later, she became an interim Administrator, traveling the state assisting vulnerable facilities and with her expertise, corrected areas in need of improvement.

Patrice has two sons and two dogs (Henny & Sunny). She enjoys traveling, reading and swimming.

Welcome to the team Patrice! We're so glad to have you.
