Castle Blocks Activity: kids use their fine motor skills and creativity to build castles as they practice speech sounds /k/, /s/, etc., in words-sentences; identify objects that are described ex: a small square block with windows, etc. and follow multi-step directions with embedded vocabulary and basic concepts ex. find the small square block with windows and put it beside the door.

Dino Grabber Activity: kids use and/or identify their target sounds in words (ex: find something that starts with /d/), identify and label objects (ex: duck), describe objects using adjectives (ex: a yellow animal with feathers that says quack), categorize objects(ex: animal, food, vehicle, etc.), and/or follow multi-step directions (ex: first get the duck, then the lobster and last get the strawberry) all while practicing their fine motor skills. Activities with peers promote turn taking, sharing and converstional skills.
