Job Title: Working Supervisor – Barnes and Company

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Working Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our textile manufacturing plant. This position requires a balance of direct supervision of production staff and active participation in manual labor on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervision & Leadership
o Lead and supervise a team of production employees.
o Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production targets are met daily.
o Open and close plant on time each day.
o Ensure safety regulations, company policies and quality standards are met
• Hands-On Production Work
o Participate in manual labor tasks as required, including equipment setup, material handling, and operating machinery.
o Safely driving a tow motor to load and unload trucks/move products within the plant.
o Possess the ability to learn the maintenance and repairs of various plant equipment

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform manual labor.
• Good communication skills with the ability to speak English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Ability to learn equipment and facility maintenance.
• Ability to open and close plant on time each day.
• Ability to learn to drive a tow motor

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 50 to 100lbs continuously, and perform repetitive tasks in a factory environment.
• Ability to work in conditions with varying temperatures, noise, and exposure to fibers/dust.

Work Schedule
• Full-time; rare overtime if necessary to meet production deadlines.
Mon-Thursday 7-4:30 Friday 7-12

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 hr. depending on experience
