For effective (breast) milk transfer, ensure your baby has a wide, open mouth and a deep latch, paired with proper tongue movements for efficient breastfeeding.

A strong latch is key to successful baby feeding and maximizing milk supply.

Experiencing ni**le pain or concerned about your baby’s latch or sucking ability? Seek a functional feeding assessment from a qualified professional, such as a lactation consultant, ‘knowledgeable OT/PT/speech therapist, or pediatric dentist. They can identify issues like tongue-tie or latch difficulties and offer tailored support to enhance your baby feeding experience.

Why Your Baby Falls Asleep While Feeding 😴

The tongue should be the "biceps" of feeding—the major mover. But when a tongue tie forces the jaw to do all the work?

It's like carrying heavy groceries with your PINKY FINGERS.

No wonder babies:
❌ Fall asleep mid-feed
❌ Get frustrated
❌ Pop on and off constantly

Once we free the tongue and retrain it to move correctly, feeding becomes efficient again. The whole process? Just 2-3 weeks!

💡 Some babies need a little longer if there are jaw issues, but most see improvement quickly.

The "Container Baby" Problem 🍼

Snoos, swings, car seats that click into strollers... SO convenient, but babies are paying the price:
❌ Less natural movement
❌ More stiffness
❌ More flat spots

The fix? Put your baby on a blanket and let them move freely. That's it!
Simple floor time prevents so much of what we're seeing in our practice today.

I get So many messages like this!! Triple feeding is beyond exhausting, especially with twins. When milk transfer stays low despite ties, “bodywork”, and Lactation support, it often means something deeper like oral-motor issues, dyscoordination, poor endurance, or timing hasn’t been fully assessed and addressed yet. You’re not failing, and you’re not out of options.

If you want, feel free to DM us — this is exactly the kind of situation we help families untangle. 🤍
