On today's "Friends on the Go" field trip, our Friends took Ms. Daisy to visit Jimmy Nash City Park - Martinsville Park for some games, a picnic and a few, even got on the swings!!

We then loaded up and headed to Martinsville Candy Kitchen for some sweet treats for all!

"Friends on the Go" is a result of our awarded funds from 100+ Women Who Care Morgan County and the Community Foundation of Morgan County to allow our Friends to enjoy getting out into our community with the assistance of our Team at A Senior Retreat, Adult Day Services!

Our Martinsville location had a wonderful visit with a couple of therapy horses from Life Vantage Farms sponsored by our friends at ComForCare Home Care! We love our Professional Friends and our Friends LOVED the horse therapy! What a great blessing on this beautiful day!

Yesterday was our first "Friends on the Go" field trip!

WHAT AN AMAZING DAY!!

Rascal's Fun Zone welcomed us and provided lunch, ice cream and a couple hours of Duckpin Bowling for our Friends from both ASR centers!

It was fun to introduce our Martinsville Friends to our Franklin Friends and play together!

"Friends on the Go" is a result of our 100 Women Who Care Morgan County giving circle award through the Community Foundation of Morgan County!

No matter their medical diagnoses, getting our Friends out into the community is so important! It may take extra staff and volunteers, but worth every single measure to make it happen!

A Senior Retreat is blessed with amazing staff, families and donors to pull it all together!

We are grateful!

"Lyla was here!"

Our custom name plate finally came in to honor Lyla and the Thomas family for their donation for our new aquarium.

Our fish are growing and the aquarium has inspired some of our Friends to create their own little aquariums!

We also want to thank Herring & Sons Aquarium Services for helping us create a wonderful exhibit for our Friends to enjoy for years to come!
