ATTENTION FAMILIES 📢

We have seen concerned parents’ post on social media about their statements received and balances due.

If you have a question regarding a statement that you received, please contact our office at 276.638.5437, so we can review it with you.

It could be that your insurance has a high deductible, a procedure wasn’t covered by your insurance, or it was a self-pay visit that was not paid in full at the date of your visit. We also recommend reviewing your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company (these can come via mail or you can view them on your insurance’s website) as these explain what your responsibility is to pay.

(Please also understand that some insurance companies can take up to 90 days (or longer) to process the claims. In some cases, you may pay for a prior visit and then the insurance for another visit gets processed and there is another balance due from that visit on your account.)

If you receive a statement and are concerned about the balance and being able to pay it, we do offer payment plans.

We are happy to discuss and work with you to resolve any balances that are due, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 276.638.5437 or office@childrenfirstpediatricsofva.com.
