🌿 How Often Should You Get a Massage? 🌿

One of the most common questions I get is “How often should I book a massage?” The truth is: there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Each person’s body, lifestyle, and goals are different. 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️

✨ According to research from the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), regular massage therapy can help reduce stress, ease pain, improve circulation, and support overall well-being. But the best frequency depends on what you need:

✅ If you’re just getting started or working through pain/tension: I recommend scheduling every 2–3 weeks for your first 3 sessions. This consistency helps your body adjust and allows us to address deeper issues effectively. Some of my clients take longer to get their body "knot" free. Factors include past trauma that is stored in the body, how physically demanding your job is, if you exercise or not, etc.

✅ For maintenance & wellness: Once your body starts to feel balanced, a monthly massage can help you maintain progress and prevent tension from building back up (or building back up as much). If you are able to incorporate stretches that I give you, stay hydrated, and correct posture issues your body may take 8 or 10 weeks before feeling like you need another massage. Every person's body is different.

✅ For relaxation & stress relief: Anytime you need a reset, massage can be the perfect self-care whether it is weekly, bi-weekly, or whenever life feels heavy. 🌸
