Apana Vayu Mudra

Tonight’s class will focus on our Anahata (heart) chakra.

The heart chakra is associated with love, compassion, empathy, forgiveness, and inner peace, unconditional love, and a deep sense of connection with oneself and the world around them. People with an open heart chakra are generally more compassionate, kind, and nurturing.

Blockages: Emotional issues such as grief, jealousy, resentment, fear of intimacy, and difficulty in giving or receiving love, physical symptoms can include heart problems, respiratory issues, and high blood pressure.

Sacral Chakra Affirmations

I am worthy and deserving of respect from myself and others, I am comfortable moving my body in ways that feel good to me and all that I am is in perfect harmony.

Making an association personal gives it more relevance and the Chakra system is a map towards self realization.
