We've re-released our community tragedies CE course- please see details below.
There are simply no words. Trauma upon trauma upon trauma.
Our board was talking late into the night last night, and we decided to do three things immediately:
#1- We made a donation to Everytown for Gun Safety and encourage you to check it out, if you are so called.
#2- 20% of all proceeds from this week will also be donated to Everytown for Gun Safety.
#3- We are making our Responding to Community Tragedies/Disaster Mental Health CE course free for everyone (the CE credit is free).
Clearly Clinical is located in Thousand Oaks, CA, the location of the Borderline Bar mass shooting and raging wildfires in November 2018. Soon thereafter, we released a CE course/podcast episode called Disaster Mental Health: How to Help in the Aftermath of a Tragedy. We're re-releasing this course with free CE credit; please see enrollment details below. This on-demand podcast CE course provides heartfelt guidance about the impact of community-based tragedies and effective clinical responses, featuring Dr. Susan Hall and Robert Scholz, LMFT, LPCC, who are not only Disaster Mental Health experts but have also experienced multiple community tragedies themselves while simultaneously serving in clinical roles. Their warmth, personal/professional experience, and candor bring a special groundedness to this presentation.
