We are looking to hire an experienced billing person to join our team! This candidate must be a fun, positive person who is detail oriented and can multi-task with great energy. This position interacts with patients, staff members, attorneys, and insurance companies. Position involves customer service, organizing workload, billing and at times filling in as receptionist. Candidate must be computer savvy. Preferably bilingual in Spanish/English.
This is a full-time, Monday through Thursday, position and hours will be determined at the time of hire.
Billing Specialist/ Chiropractic Assistant Responsibilities (not comprehensive list):
*Insurance verification, benefits and calls on claim status
*Collection and posting of patient payments and co-pays
*Document filing, scanning, faxing, e-mail and associated clerical
duties
*Financials with patients
*Assistance with consultations
*Help with reception and front office desk work when needed
*Answering phones
*New and existing patient scheduling
Ideal Candidate:
*Detail orientated
*Strong communication skills, written and oral
*Ability to work independently
*Previous experience preferred
*A genuine interest in helping people feel better and be healthier
