One of the things that makes us unique is that our teams have had the MHFA training.

One of the things that makes us unique is that our teams have had the MHFA training.

If you saw someone struggling with their mental health, would you know what to do?

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches everyday people how to recognize the signs of a mental health or substance use challenge, respond with confidence, and connect someone to appropriate support. It’s practical, empowering, and can truly make a difference in someone’s life. Just like CPR training teaches you how to save a life for someone having a medical emergency, MHFA teaches you how to provide initial support in a mental health emergency until professional help arrives.

We’re offering FREE Mental Health First Aid trainings for adults (18+) in St. Clair County in 2026.

Learn more and register here:

Interested in bringing Mental Health First Aid directly to your workplace, organization, church, club, or community group? We can do that too! Reach out to Adrienne Luckenbacher at aluckenbacher@scccmh.org to talk about hosting a training for your team.
