Our "Adopt a Friend" application is now open!

Qualifications:
*Be an adult or a child with a developmental disability. (UCBDD Service Consultant's name will need to be provided.)
*Have financial limitations and would benefit from a boost this Christmas. We will not be asking for financial information and trust that those filling out the form are doing so in good faith.
*If filling out the form for a disabled adult, any other related adults with a developmental disability living in the home can qualify as well.
*If filling out the form for a child with a developmental disability, other children in the home, regardless of disability, will also qualify.
*One food box per household will be distributed.

Application due by 11/14/2025. You will be notified by 11/21/2025 if you have been selected for the program. Gifts and food will be delivered by December 22nd.

🎁🎅🎄🤶🌲🧑‍🎄🎁

We would like to continue our Adopt a Friend program again this year & we need your feedback! Last year we were able to provide Christmas gifts & food boxes to 4 adults with developmental disabilities in Union County. This year we would like to expand our reach.

We are proposing doing gifts/food boxes by family unit with a goal of helping 3 kid families and 3 adult families. How would this look? For kid families we would identify 3 families that have have kid(s) with developmental disabilities and provide 1 food box and then gifts for all kids in the family. For adult families we would identify 3 adults with disabilities and if for example, there were two disabled adults living together, they would get 1 food box and then both would get gifts.

How can we make it easiest for you to support?
-Us having a way to provide cash, check, or to transfer donations and we shop for you.
-Provide a list of items needed thay can be shopped for and dropped off to us.
-Amazon wish list to shop from that will be delivered straight to us.

We will make all deliveries directly to recipients.
