Paragon Heating, Owners: Scott & Jeana Brennan
1) Why did you start your business? We desired to work for ourselves. We were building our family, and working long hours far away from home was not going to work for us any longer.
2) How long have you been in business? We have been in business for 11 years!
3) Why do you keep doing it? There are a lot of reasons but here are a few: We enjoy helping people and building relationships. There is a lot of satisfaction when we are able to help our customers, whether it be for a problem or seeing them once a year for routine maintenance and keeping their system going. We are able to support our community youth through sports sponsorships and donations. Our community means a lot to us!

3) Why do you keep doing it? We get to help other businesses and homeowners alike restore there most valuable assets after a major event such as water, fire or mold damage. Helping people is what keeps us going.

Glass & Stone Pottery Studio, Owners: Matt Beland
1) Why did you start your business? I had a successful career in the tech industry, but I didn't like the way I was pouring so much of my heart and soul into things that felt meaningless, or even harmful, in terms of the world around me. I had spent my spare time teaching pottery for the last several years in another studio, and Glass & Stone represented a way to put more of my energy into helping people explore their creativity and make beautiful, functional, *real* things.
2) How long have you been doing it? Glass & Stone Pottery Studio opened in September of 2022.
3) Why do you keep doing it?
I love helping people unlock skills they never thought they possess. I support a community of talented, creative artists and craftspeople in creating beauty. I am proud of the things I make, from the simplest cups and bowls to elaborate fountains. I'm even more excited to see the amazing art my students create. Every Kiln Day, when finished pieces are unloaded from the glaze kiln, is like Christmas morning! Whether anything in the kiln came from my hands, or not.

Coastline Signs & Design, Owners: Joshua Garay
1) Why did you start your business? I wanted to start my own design and printing business to help other new business owners who were just starting out. Signs and logos for a new business can be a daunting step, and I enjoyed the creative work of logo/graphic design and printing.
2) How long have you been doing it? My Father ran a small printing company that specialized in logos and letterhead printing. So, from a young age I've had hands-on experience with printing. I started my own business 5 years ago.
3) Why do you keep doing it? I've been able to enjoy this work for so long because of the creative side of printing and design. Creating new logos for business and graphic design for marketing has been fulfilling. Also, being able to see my work on display around town is also fulfilling! And with the ever adapting industry of printing it's hard to get bored with the process.

I wanted to build a team that I could teach all that I have learned in my 20-plus years of being a massage therapist. I wanted to provide a safe place where therapists can learn and grow their skill.

Wellness Solutions was born in January 2020.
3) Why do you keep doing it?
I have worked for chiropractors, physical therapists, spas and in-home care and I love it all. But, I love my team and the atmosphere we have created for our patients in one location more!
