Join First 5 Yuba County Children & Families Commission and Yuba County Library this Friday, Sept. 5th at 10 am to learn about passenger seat safety.

Don't forget to join us this Friday, September 5th, for our First 5 Friday Program about child passenger seat safety. We will have a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician join us: who will share about which seat is best for your child, show you how to install them in your vehicle, and more! This program is perfect for those with little ones and any parents/caregivers who have questions regarding their child or grandchild's car seat. No registration necessary. For parents and caregivers with children 0-5 years old. September 5th at 10AM at 1128 Yuba Street in Marysville. For more information call 530-749-7380.

Join us on Tuesday, July 22nd from 2:30–4:30 p.m. at the Olivehurst E-Center for a FREE health & developmental screening event 🎉

- 2:30pm-3:30pm will be open for registered E-center families
-3:30pm-4:30 pm will be open to the public

This is a fun and easy way to check in on your child’s growth and development — like a snapshot of where they’re at! 💛

✅ Screenings include social-emotional, vision, hearing, height & weight, and more
🎒 Kids who complete screenings will receive a FREE backpack and school supplies

🌊🚒 A Huge Thank You to the Olivehurst Fire Department! 🚒🌊

We had an absolute blast at Ella Preschool during our end-of-year water fun day! A heartfelt thank you to the amazing firefighters who took the time to visit us, bringing joy, laughter, and a splash of excitement to our little ones. Your dedication to our community and willingness to engage with our kids made this day truly unforgettable.

We wanted to share that our next enrollment window will open on June 9th through June 20th.

We are currently going through all of the applications that were submitted during our first open enrollment window and placing students into classes. If you submitted an application during the first window, please continue to check your email and/or parent portal for any updates or requests for additional information.

We are excited about getting your child enrolled into one of our preschool classes for the 2025-26 School Year.

🎉🌟 A Huge Shoutout to Our Amazing Preschool Teachers! 🌟🎉

We are thrilled to celebrate our incredible team of 10 preschool teachers who have truly excelled in implementing embedded instruction! By selecting specific IEP goals and providing 8 meaningful opportunities during class time, they have made a profound impact on our students' learning and development.

Their dedication and creativity have not gone unnoticed! We are excited to announce that CalBloom will be visiting Linda Preschool to film our outstanding teachers in action and provide coaching on their innovative practices for others in the education community to learn from. A special thanks to Ms. Carmen, our amazing coach, for guiding our teachers and helping them shine!
