On Friday children at Yuba Feather Preschool practiced important life skills by safely using plastic knives to cut vegetables, prepare their own salads, and build confidence through hands-on learning. They also buttered bread and made homemade croutons, exploring healthy food choices while strengthening independence, coordination, and teamwork!

Last Friday the MJUSD Child Development Center team turned up the fun for Teacher Appreciation with a groovy 70s-themed celebration! We enjoyed lunch, learned classic disco dance moves, shared lots of laughs, and were honored for the incredible love, energy, and dedication they bring to children and families every day. Yesterday our preschoolers at Yuba Feather Preschool put their new skills into practice at our special Mother’s Day Tea Party! After learning how to pour tea, practice table manners, and serve others with kindness, children enjoyed a sweet morning of connection and celebration with their families. Today was the 1st “Statewide Day of Action” at Cedar Lane Preschool and Ella Preschool with First 5 Yuba and First 5 California. Parents and children decorated their own flower pot with sunflower seeds. Thank you to all that participated in this special event!
