🚨 Community Health Update 🚨
Anderson Hospital, along with neighboring hospitals across the Metro East, is currently operating at peak census. Respiratory illnesses — including Flu and COVID — are widespread and highly contagious in our community.
As a result, patients may experience longer wait times in our Emergency Department and outpatient services, including imaging, as our care teams must prioritize those who are most critically ill.
We also want to remind the community that Anderson Hospital is at Visitor Restriction Level 2:
• Visitors should not visit patients if they are showing any signs of illness
• Proper hand hygiene is required at all times during your visit
Our physicians, nurses, and staff are working tirelessly to provide safe, compassionate care. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and partnership in helping protect our patients, visitors, and healthcare workers. 💙
