“I just wanted to take time to write about a recent trip to Smoky Mountain Urgent Care. Me and my family have been several times over the past year or two. With two little boys it seems we're always there with an ear ache, poison ivy or something. Recently, my wife got really sick, after throwing up and hurting for 48 hours, I finally convinced her to go to the urgent care to be seen. I've always been impressed with how nice the staff and doctors are at this place, but their professionalism is what really sets them apart and made me sit down and write this. It turns out she was dehydrated and needed fluids and labs first. The doctor then told us he suspected she had appendicitis. They sent us over for a CAT scan at the hospital and got us seen there immediately. As soon as we finished the scan, within minutes, the urgent care doctor was on the phone to us saying that she had appendicitis for sure. Next, the really amazing thing, they had a surgeon come to the x-ray department and es**rt us to the hospital ER and he explained he would be our surgeon. Ultimately they took out my wife's appendix with the scope and laser and we went home the next day. The whole experience was INCREDIBLE! Smoky Mountain Urgent Care has always been there and great for every day "emergencies", but in this case of a true complicated medical issue, they were Grade-A professionals. We are truly grateful to have this place for our family whenever we need them!”
“I have been to this urgent care center many times, and I have always been given exceptional customer service. I am generally never there for longer than an hour, but sometimes (during those notoriously busy cold seasons for example) it has been a little bit longer. The staff has always been courteous and knowledgeable, and it's always been nice to know that I will always see a doctor when I am there. I love that they are open every day of the week and they're there until 8pm!! The last time I was really sick (with a stomach virus) was on a Sunday, and I was so happy to have somewhere to go other than the hospital! I would highly recommend them!”
“While on vacation last Thanksgiving week, my one year old developed ear infections in both ears. We took him to Smoky Mountain Urgent Care, and all the staff took such great care of him! They even printed up copies of everything they did and prescribed during his visit for us to take to his physician. They have all the latest equipment and the facility was so clean. We visit the area yearly, so it is comforting to know we have a place to go for minor injuries or illnesses."
