She testifies as an expert witness in depositions and jury trials to defend her Life Care Plans. She is frequently asked to testify to the Standard of Care in many areas of Nursing. As a rehabilitation specialist and nurse case manager, she developed cost-effective case management strategies without compromising the top quality care that every patient deserves. Salerno has extensive experience in catastrophic cases involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns amputations, multi-system trauma and chronic pain. More tha 12 years of hospital experience in intensive care, orthopedic-neurosurgical nursing, trauma, and labor and delivery, provided her with a solid foundation and the expertise needed for successful Life Care Planning and Litigation support. Salerno holds six nationally accepted certifications. She has given lectures on the subjects of Traumatic Brain Injury and Catastrophic Case Management. She holds a Master's Degree and is currently working on her PHD.
