✨ Community at the Table ✨

Talbott Legacy Centers (TLC) was proud to sponsor and participate in the 2025 Long Table Community Dinner, hosted by our friends at the Blount County Chamber of Commerce.

Representing TLC at this signature event was our President, Zachary C. Talbott, who joined 200 community leaders, neighbors, and partners for an evening that truly showcased the heart of Blount County—connection, collaboration, and shared purpose.

A special note of appreciation goes to Jessica Hahn, Chamber Director of Membership, and to all those who worked tirelessly alongside her to make the Long Table such a resounding success. Their commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive business community is evident in every detail of this remarkable event.

At TLC, we believe strong communities are built through partnership, compassion, and meaningful conversation—and this evening was a perfect reflection of those values.

Honoring the Legacy of Christopher Columbus 🧭📜

While attending the 2025 AATOD Conference in Philadelphia, TLC Vice President of Operations Chip Fuller captured this striking image of the Christopher Columbus monument—a tribute to one of history’s most influential explorers.

Columbus, a devout Christian, mathematician, and cartographer, exemplified the spirit of Western exploration and faith. His courage, intellect, and unwavering belief in divine providence helped shape the course of history and opened new horizons for generations to come.

As Columbus once said, “You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” 🌊

We honor his enduring legacy and the values of perseverance, vision, and faith that continue to inspire. 🇺🇸

Celebrating Leadership and Legacy at AATOD 2025
📍 Philadelphia, PA | 🗓️ October 8, 2025

Following the Closing Plenary Session of the 2025 AATOD Conference, TLC President Zachary C. Talbott, MSW had the honor of standing alongside two of the most respected leaders in the field of opioid treatment: Mark A. Parrino, MPA, President of the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD), and Yngvild Olsen, MD, MPH, most recent former Director of the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) at SAMHSA and current Medical Director of REACH Health Services in Baltimore.

🔹 Mark Parrino has led AATOD since its founding in 1984, shaping national policy, expanding access to care, and advocating for the integrity of opioid treatment programs. His decades of service — from directing opioid treatment programs (OTPs) to chairing federal panels — have made him a cornerstone of the field.

🔹 Dr. Yngvild Olsen is a nationally recognized expert in addiction medicine and public health policy. Her leadership at CSAT and REACH Baltimore has advanced evidence-based care, reduced stigma, and strengthened the behavioral health workforce.

🔹 Zachary Talbott, through Talbott Legacy Centers and years of advocacy, continues to champion ethical, evidence-based treatment and recovery support. His work has earned national recognition and reflects a deep commitment to dignity, justice, and clinical excellence.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mark Parrino for leading another successful AATOD Conference — a gathering that continues to elevate the field and unite professionals in the shared mission of saving lives.

Talbott Legacy Centers was honored to share an evening of meaningful conversation and connection with Alison Insinger, esteemed Editor of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Weekly (ADAW) and former longtime Editor of Addiction Treatment Forum (AT Forum).

With over 30 years of experience reporting on substance use, addiction treatment policy, and behavioral health, Alison has been a trusted voice and advocate for evidence-based care. Her work has illuminated the complexities of opioid treatment and helped shape national discourse on medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), patient rights, and public health policy.
