With 18 years of working experience in the Sports Massage industry, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. She is a graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage Clinical Program with certifications in Sports, Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapies. Since beginning her career in 2005 she has worked predominantly with athletes of all levels from the weekend warrior to the professional including dancers, hikers, cyclists, aerialists, ironman world competitors, cross fit fanatics, new moms, pregnant women and those just wanting to feel better. She has developed a deep understanding of both the physical and mental demands on the physical and emotional body in our culture. Her love for learning is reflected in her extensive continuing education including a 40 hour human cadaver dissection, and a Prenatal Therapy certification. She is a provider of S.A.S.T.M, the massage therapists’ equivalent of the Graston Technique. Ashley has trained with world renowned anatomist Tom Myers with Anatomy Trains for an ATSI, Anatomy Trains Structural Integration Certification (Formerly KMI). ATSI is myofascial Structural Integration that evolved from Ida Rolf's pioneering work with substantial updates incorporating Tom Myers' Anatomy Trains myofascial meridian map. She completed her training in Maine and Australia receiving her certification in June of 2016. Ashley uses her background in physical training including yoga, weight lifting, running, aerial dance, hiking and motherhood to truly understand the body of her clients. She strives to share this passion for ease of movement, athletics, and physical training with each of her clients. Her goal is to empower you to understand your unique body and its patterns to maximize both performance and rest.
