If you’re in your third trimester, it’s time to start drinking raspberry leaf tea! Known as “pregnancy tea,” it’s super rich in iron, calcium, and magnesium, and may help strengthen your uterine muscles in preparation for birth. Always check with your provider prior to starting the daily tea, but we are big fans of raspberry leaf tea here at Women’s Care Group!

During pregnancy, you’ll probably hear the term “dilation”… but what does that really mean?

Dilation is how your cervix opens to allow your baby to pass through the birth canal. It’s measured in centimeters, starting at 0 (closed) and progressing to 10 (fully dilated). Early labor is often slow, but once you reach around 6 cm, things usually move more quickly as contractions become stronger and more regular. When you’re fully dilated at 10 cm, it’s time to start pushing!
