Anderson Hospital's Pavilion for Women

Anderson Hospital's Pavilion for Women Anderson Hospital's Pavilion for Women is the premier place for the birth of your child! At Anderson Hospital, we're committed to caring for mothers and babies.

That commitment is evident in every aspect of the Pavilion for Women—our state-of-the-art health care facility for women and newborns. We know there are few experiences in life as significant and memorable as the birth of your child. That's why we've gone to great lengths to create a progressive obstetrical program that emphasizes options, comfort, and security. The Pavilion for Women was carefully designed to meet the needs of expectant moms, their families, and their newborn.

On Thursday, we held a community event to allow our patients, practitioners and community partners to get together to create a network of resources and education and support. Our “Spring Rejuvenation Brunch” focus was on our moms and their COMPLETE health. How can we, as practitioners, be there for mom during the most wonderful and sometimes the most taxing of times? Listening, encouraging, education. We had an amazing turn out and our patients talked with staff and community resources and learned about new initiatives and a focus on what is available for mom during her perinatal journey. Thank you to all who came!

Our focus today is recognizing the critical importance of maternal health, reduce preventable maternal deaths, and address disparities, especially concerning race and ethnicity, with a focus on care before, during, and after pregnancy, including mental health and heart health. Organizations like ACOG promote this day to encourage better access to care, promote evidence-based practices, and advocate for supportive policies for all birthing people.
