From Colette: As Christmas Day draws near, I want to wish you the Happiest Christmas and wonder how all of you spend this wonderful season. Currently, I am spending it with my Irish granddaughters who are obsessed with the movie Frozen. With me I brought “traveling cape” costumes from that movie, sewn by a dear friend for all my granddaughters. I’ve enjoyed seeing them insist that for all activities, they need their cape on. The joy from these little ones is so contagious, and it reminds me of the many reasons I have to be joyful.

One way we do that is by using even our soap scraps — the little pieces that don’t make it into bars or the bars that are not quite big enough to sell.
