🎄 Adopt a Resident for Christmas! 🎁
Village Care Center is excited to spread holiday cheer, and we invite our wonderful community to join us in making this season extra special for our residents.

Many of our seniors don’t have family nearby, and a simple gift can bring them so much joy. By adopting a resident, you’ll receive a wish list with a few of their favorite things. Then you can shop, wrap (optional!), and return the gifts to us — and we’ll ensure your generosity makes their Christmas magical. ❤️

🌶️ Village Care Center Chili Cook-Off Fun! 🌶️

Today was the perfect day for a little friendly competition — and a whole lot of delicious chili! Our staff teamed up with our residents for a Chili Cook-Off that filled the building with amazing aromas, big smiles, and even bigger laughs.

From secret family recipes to creative new twists, every pot told a story. Residents enjoyed sampling the different chilis, voting for their favorites, and spending quality time with our amazing team. Events like these remind us how special our VCC family truly is — coming together, sharing homemade food, and enjoying simple moments of joy. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who cooked, tasted, and joined in the fun. These are the memories that warm us more than any bowl of chili ever could!

We started our week with manicures and Thanksgiving coloring pages. This morning we are working on exercising the brain. I spy Thanksgiving edition. It is important to play games such as I spy, as it can help our cognitive function and exercise the brain.

What is better than one Veterans Day program? TWO! Mosaic Hospice joined us this afternoon to honor our Veterans and have a sing along. Thank you Mosaic Hospice for honoring our Veterans and taking the time to come to our facility!

Thank you Three Rivers Hospice for assembling a Veterans Day ceremony with these wonderful men from Conception Junction. Our residents enjoyed the ceremony, cupcakes, and visiting with these men after the ceremony.
