You may want to schedule a cardiology visit if you have:
• A strong family history of early heart disease
• High blood pressure
• High cholesterol
• Diabetes
• A history of smoking
• Other conditions such as chronic kidney disease, peripheral artery disease, or a history of preeclampsia

While a referral isn’t always required, be sure to check with your insurance provider, as some plans may need a P*P referral for coverage.
