Hailee's nomination reads:
“Hailee, our overnight nurse, has been outstanding since my mother was admitted to the ICU. From the first late night and early morning, Hailee got my mother situated and cleaned up. She went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything and every step of the process. She spoke to my mother as though she was awake and responsive. She walked through everything going on, her bedside manner was outstanding, and she even made sure to check on us, the family. She made sure my mom was bathed and cleaned and she went above and beyond to brush and untangle my mother’s hair and braid it. She always gave way more than 100%. She is kind, sweet, caring and showed us the value of great nursing.”

“The biggest joy I’ve found in nursing is being able to make connections with coworkers and patients. Patients share their lives with you – not just the medical issues – personal information about their lives. Who has the opportunity to meet so many people and learn those stories? It’s the biggest joy of my career, and it’s been a true blessing.”

Janet Kelley, RN, celebrated her retirement from nursing at Mosaic this week after nearly 40 years as a nurse. Thank you, Janet, for your many years of service to our patients! 🫶
