“Seeing Allison care for a patient is truly inspiring. She tends to them as if they were her own family, offering warmth and understanding in every moment. Her empathy runs deep, and she has a way of making every patient feel genuinely loved, supported, and seen. There was a patient whom many people avoided. She was loud, disoriented, and not in her right mind, and caring for her made others feel uneasy. But Allison saw past all of that. She treated her as if she were her own family, slowing down, taking her time, and offering the tenderness this patient deserved. She suggested playing gospel music, and the moment it filled the room, the patient began to calm. Allison would gently touch her hand or shoulder, simple gestures that made the patient feel safe, cared for, and loved. Watching her care without a trace of judgment, only pure compassion, was profoundly inspiring. You can see in every moment she's in a patient's room that she was made to work in health care. She pours her heart into caring to every patient she comes across.”
