Oak Pointe of Maryville is a senior living community that was intentionally designed to meet the unique needs of older adults. With both assisted living and memory care services, residents have their choice of purposefully designed studios or one- or two-bedroom private apartments, each of which include a full bathroom, kitchenette, emergency call response, fire safety system, and individualized heating and cooling. The building also features a beautiful dining room, ground-level courtyard, full-service salon, computer room, fitness center, on-site rehabilitation center, and much more.

Prime- Nodaway Nursing Home recently collaborated with students from Horace Mann for "National Letter to an Elder Day" and the response from the students was so positively overwhelming that they chose to share that joy with us here at Oak Pointe!

Our residents were deeply touched by the thoughtful letters, and several even took the time to write back — making it a truly special exchange across generations. Moments like these remind us how powerful simple acts of kindness can be.

We are so thankful for the compassion and love within our community! 💌✨

Our residents rolled in for a little tune-up during the Walker & Wheelchair Car Wash hosted by our in-house therapy team, Fox Therapy! 🦽✨

Walkers and wheelchairs were cleaned up while residents mingled with the therapy staff, got to know them better, and had the chance to do a brief screening to discuss any concerns or mobility barriers.

Thank you to Fox Therapy for helping keep our residents moving safely and comfortably!

Tuesday afternoon was filled with music, smiles, and a little singing! 🎶

Lauren McCormick, one of our previous interns, came back to share her musical talents with our residents. It was heartwarming to see everyone connecting with the songs she played—there were plenty of smiles and voices joining in! Thank you, Lauren, for making the afternoon so special. ❤️

Laissez les bons temps rouler! 🎭💜💛💚

We had a fantastic time celebrating Mardi Gras with our residents! We enjoyed delicious King Cake and punch, and Max found the baby in the cake which will hopefully bring the tradition of good luck and prosperity! 👑🎉

Everyone looked festive in their masks and beads, and we had so much fun testing our knowledge with a little Mardi Gras trivia. It was an afternoon full of laughter, treats, and great company!

Our residents and staff had so much fun creating these adorable Valentine boxes, and we just had to show them off! Each one is unique, creative, and full of personality — just like the wonderful people who made them. ✨

Our annual Sweetheart Dance was an absolute dream and, without a doubt, one of our favorite events of the year! ❤️✨

A huge thank you to David Kiene for sharing his incredible time and talent with us once again! He has been performing at our Sweetheart Dance for the last several years, and we are so grateful for the joy he brings to our residents! 🎶

We were also thrilled to have Phi Sigma Kappa join us again this year! Dressed to the nines, they made wonderful dance partners and helped make the evening extra special. 💃🕺

And congratulations to our 2026 Sweetheart King and Queen, John and Sue! 👑 What an amazing and deserving couple — we loved celebrating you both!

It truly was a night full of music, laughter, and love! 💕

Our residents had so much fun creating their own Valentine’s Day decorations, and we just had to show them off! It’s amazing to see everyone’s creativity shine in their own special way! 💕

We are so thankful for Becca from Three Oaks Hospice for going the extra mile and putting on an extra game of Bingo for our residents! 🎉

The prizes were absolutely amazing and so appreciated — you should have seen the smiles around the room! It’s always such a joy when our community partners bring extra fun and excitement to our day.
