We had a great morning yesterday at our Mom’s & Muffins gathering! 💐🧁 It was such a special way to spend time together and share our appreciation for all the moms and mother figures who mean so much to us. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so sweet and memorable! 💕

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! 🍦

We had our first ice cream outing of the season at our local Dairy Queen—and it was a hit! It took two trips to make sure both our Assisted Living and Memory Support residents got to join in on the fun, but it was well worth it.

Smiles, sweet treats, and great company made for a perfect day out. Here’s to many more sunny outings ahead! ☀️🍨

This video is just a little taste of the incredible entertainment we got to enjoy from Hank during our last Happy Hour! 🎹

Hank has been playing the piano for an amazing 90 years. He even played professionally with bands at just 19 and 20 years old, and had the honor of accompanying Donald O’Connor on the piano!

We are so lucky to have such talent and history shared with us—it truly made for a special afternoon! 💙

Everybody, meet Smalls! 🐾

This handsome Great Dane is currently up for adoption at the New Nodaway Humane Society, and he truly lives up to the title of a gentle giant.

Smalls recently came to visit our residents, and it’s safe to say he stole the show—everyone absolutely loved him! His calm, sweet nature brought so many smiles and made for such a special visit. 💙

If you’ve been thinking about adding a big-hearted (and big-sized!) friend to your life, Smalls might just be your perfect match!

Oak Pointe has officially been open for 11 years as of March 27th! 🎉

We are so incredibly thankful for all of the residents and staff—past and present—who have made Oak Pointe such a special place over the years. We are also grateful for the continued love and support from our amazing community. 💛

We are excited to share that Stephanie Reed has returned “home” as the Director of Sales at Oak Pointe of Maryville!

Stephanie had the incredible opportunity to help open the community and spent more than 9 wonderful years serving our residents and families. With a deep passion for helping seniors and their families navigate the journey to senior living, she looks forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new residents, and continuing to serve the Maryville community.

From Stephanie: “This community has always held a special place in my heart, so coming back truly feels like home to me. I’m so grateful to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new residents and families, and continue helping seniors find a place where they can feel safe, supported, and truly at home.”

Stephanie lives in Maryville with her husband and 3 amazing kids, ages 3, 7 and 9. When she’s not at Oak Pointe or running kids around to activities, she loves decorating, baking (pies are a specialty) and working on her 120+ year old Victorian home in downtown Maryville.
